Hi.

Armed with the info that I received from John, Tom, and Jim, I went back
and counted up 18 beeps from 1, tried changing the menu setting, found it
was the wrong menu, and set it back, then did the same thing with the 17th
menu, then the 16th, and so on and so forth. At 15 beeps from menu 1, I
found the setting to enable the voice synthesizer on the dimmer button, and
have the radio up and running.

Thanks, fellas. I couldn't have done it without you.

73, de Lou K2LKK
