I thank all of you for this info.  I am awaiting the arrival of my 2000.
Do I need to adjust the mike gain for ssb, and if so, how do I do that.
If this was covered in the quickguide, I apologize.  I read it one
chrough, but sure it will make a lot more sense with the rig in front of
me.  The only assessory I ordered with mine is the voice synthesizer.  Do
any of you know about the touch tone mike they offer.  Does this permit
keyboard entry or anything like that?
