Phil,

Just thought I'd change the subject line.  There is one guy in the group you 
mentioned that I knew fairly well in the 70's.  He was Steve, N2IC, a.k.a. 
wa2icu.

A group of us used to talk on 80 CW when a couple of the group were Novices. 
It really gave me incentive to build up my CW speed as they were going at 
about 35-40 WPM.  Couldn't have Novices outdoing me.  I met him for an 
eyeball while we both were at University of Michigan.

Another guy that I think used to live out in that area was Dave, W8NF.  He 
has since also moved on to Oregon.

Don't know what it is in the Colorado air or water that causes a lot of 
people to put down only temporary roots.  I'd sure love to have that 
multi-tower station on the 10,000 foot mesa.
