HI Tom,
Thanks for the name of the Kenwood cable.

I may already have the program for the TMV-71A in one of my directories.

I have to transfer any computer programs I plan to use to the Dell laptop.

I'd love to have a schedule on 20 meters sometime once you get settled in.

Even though I have not yet made a single contact I am really pleased with my
setup.

Before when I tried hf I used an Outback Outposter tripod on my balcony and
transmitted on 40 meters.

At that time I had a Kenwood TS570D.

I got into my stero system.

Now I know so much more about antennas than I did then.

I'm now using a Bencher low pass filter and an MFJ line isolator between my
transmitter and my 20 meter dipole.

Even when running 100 watts I don't put a signal on any of my electronics.

Now I just have to make a contact.

I think this week I'm going to buy one of those Hy Power shortened dipoles
for 30 meters.

Think I'm going to concentrate my efforts there and build up my CW speed
again.

My girl friend was teasing me because I was telling her about the Murcury
paddles that cost almost $500.

You can get them from Morse Esxpress in Denver.

She was saying you'd rather have a fancy morse code sending device than a
KNFB Reader?

I replied yes I would.

Have a great rest of the week.

I think our crazy state has finally passed a budget I hope.

Thanks for your always welcome and helpful advice.

73,

Eric
