well,
I don't happen to have any other mics that will work with this radio. In fact, that is the only mic for that radio. Also I don't know anyone locally here that has a mic that is wired and setup for this radio.

Anyway, there appears to be a fault after the mic (transistors Q2001 thru Q2003. THese are the primary mic amp and modulation parts.
