message! Also, pray for her daughter and for Jennifer as she is having a
difficult time with the news I'm about to give you!
Folks,
For the fourth time in less than four years I find myself faced with
helping a loved one make their final journey. With great sadness I
must tell you that Lisa Carmelle is dying of pancreatic cancer. Her
doctors tell us she has one or two weeks left on Earth.
I believe in miracles, and am praying for one!
For those of you who know Lisa, please send me notes of support for
her. She has really appreciated the email notes we have read her.
Please circulate this message to email lists, or anyone you think may
know Lisa.
Many of you know Lisa from the large Blind Ham Net she ran years ago.
Others may know her from the blind-ad list she has been operating for
several years now.
We hope to get Lisa home from the hospital no later than Tuesday, and
I will be spending a lot of time in assisting her young daughter to
manage her care. I want to share as much time with Lisa as I can at
this point, therefore I will be canceling my radio shows and
postponing other events which were slated to begin over the next two weeks.
Lisa is a compassionate and giving person. She has made a positive
difference in many, many blind individuals' lives. If you pray,
please pray for her now. Or channel positive energy and thoughts her
way. Please do it right now.
