Socialism you say: Obama Care is socialism is it?

HMMM...

Let's look at this one closely:
1.  no public option;
2.  all pricing controlled by the insurance companies with no government at 
all;
3.  mandates for middle class people to buy this so-called insurance;
4.  the monopoly trust status for insurance companies still in place for the 
most part;
5. no right of any kind to import cheaper drugs (so much for conservatives 
obsession with free market competition) to hold down prices;
6.       SOUNDS LIKE FASCISM MORE THAN SOCIALISM
...AND WHEN THE TEA BAGGERS TAKE OVER IN A COUPLE OF YEARS, YOU WATCH THEN. 
IT'S GOING TO BE A TOTAL MIDDLE CLASS RAPE!!!

That's because that same socialist government is trying its best to
discourage people from either working or from being honest.  How is it, for
example, that people who shack up together can both draw full SSI or SSDI
while those who try to do it by the books and get married are penalized for
doing so?  If both married partners have earned their own SSDI benefits on
their own records why should they be penalized for working to do that?  And
why won't our government eliminate the earnings test for blind people so we
can get out and earn a decent living which among other things would cut down
the dependence on SSI which is not earned.

I was told by my PCP that in years to come, those of us on Medicare HMO'S
will lose coverage thanks to Obama care while those who are not working and
who are freeloading off society like illegal aliens will have their health
care provided free or very nearly so.  How is that right?
