I just got the 50mw stereo version pre-assembled.  Not real sure about the
range yet, I haven't done much with it yet because I wanted to
find a box for the circuit board.  But range is over 100 feet with the
antenna wires on the bed which is much better that the $40 stereo fm
transmitter from radio shack.
