With sighted assistance you could install this. If your existing thermostat
has the connections labeled "O", "Y", "G" etc. then you would move the wires
from the old thermostat to same labeled terminals on talking thermostat. In
some instillations, a jumper wire may need to be added between some
additional terminals. The package contains printed wiring diagrams for
various configurations.
I believe the VIP1000 has been discontinued.
