Hi Mike yes it can be done.  HRO will charge a Bunch of money to 
do it.  Fortunately, I had a local ham who had both the right 
power pole connector and the right crimper to put it on.  Seems 
like
HRO would have charged around $100 to do it but that may have 
included the cable.  In any case that was too much, and

Subject: Connecting my Kenwood to Power Pole

Is there a power cable I can use to power my TS590 using Power 
Pole connections? In other words, it would be like the TS590's DC 
cable except for a Power Pole connector instead of bare wires.
