Sounds like either your auto repeater shift is off or else it doesn't
work quite right on 440. (I've had radios where it didn't work quite
right on 440, no big deal.) Just set your radio to 443.550, set your
offset to plus, and you'll be all good. Assuming your repeater split
is the standard 5 megahertz.
