should i use a premp pre amp and a fm linear amp for fm satalites and iss contacts? this is for the tmv71a radio. ke6qr gary gross has a fm uhf linear amp and a pre amp. that i could use if needed. the antennas are eggbeaters for uhf and vhf use. 

i want a good signal.
