Linda, I've a client running 50w on 2m and 35w on 70cm with no problems to his
implants.  However, I suspect pretty strongly that you don't want to do that
when you're near then antenna.  Put the antenna outside and you sould be ok but
running close to the antenna is going to be a problem with anything.  Besides,
that's a lot of radiation to expose yourself to.

When I've been teaching speech science labs I've had some problems with 50w
output from some of the equipment even though it was just rf output to no
antenna.  I suspect being close to that kind of output will at least overload
your implants if not outrightly damage them permanently.
