I became wn0oro at the Nebraska school for the blind in Nebraska City, Nebraska. My first contact was a little A T 1 on 80 meters using, of course, a crystal with about 30 watts from the AT1 we had working at the time. My first contact was very much like my call; wn0oho. After all these years, it's still fun in so many different ways; CW still being my favorite.

Phil.
