Hi all!

A couple days ago, we had the international Day for people with disabilities
or some such.

I thought it should be a day to celebrate some significant new gain we've
achieved in the last year, but maybe we haven't achieved much worthy of
recognition in the last year. I did see some press releases from a few
organisations using the day to highlight their lack of finance, etc.

Disappointed as I was to see this, I wondered what a better story might have
been, if only I had it to tell.

January 4 is still, I hope, far enough away that there might be time for
planning something.

I know there might be local activities, but this is ham radio, so there must
be something we could do that day to recognise the benefits of braille, ham
radio, and let the world know that we seriously care about what we do,
regardless of what other motivations we may have had.

No grand scheme comes to mind, but if anyone has one, I'd love to join it.

73,
Dave
