Hi Eric,

I in rare cases have seen situations similar to this with the TH-F6A.  What 
you may want to do is if you have the software and the programming cable is 
to load your radio from a backup if it exists.  If not even though it is a 
pain reset the radio.  Consider it like a major system corruption in a 
computer analog to reloading windows from scratch.  Sorry to be the bearer 
of bad news.  At times despite the annoyance factor a radio reset is the 
best thing.  73.
