just reset it...those instructions are in the manual you can access from I 
can work this thing.com.
The volume is a mechanical analogue control so not sure why you can't get 
volume...

I was trying to learn the thf6 and I hit some butten and the volume
doesn't work and the beaps stopped working.
I had someone sighted come over and looked and the menu 19, beaps was on.
I don't know what to do?
