    Thanks for the clarification on the cables, Kevin.

I only use the PG5G for programming the rig, so wasn't familiar with the 
other possibilities.

Hopefully, this will give Don what he needs.

Hi Tom and all.

I have both the data cable and the other one.  The latter is to hook to your
computer's sound card, the mic and audio out.  I have mine on EchoLink, but
I suspect it would let your PC decode something like packet if you have the
right software.
