Well that takes care of that. Bob W2ENY just emailed me back and he don't offer a warranty on his stuff. Guess you get what you pay for. LOL Will have to buy his adapter and box though as I don't have a schematic or no someone willing to build me 1. 
So Its on to the Yamaha or equivelent headset mic for about 100CAN.
