here is my devious mind at work:
everyone from the list throw one dollar in to the Fund for Accessible 
Amateur Radio Transceivers.  Lets just call it FAART.
I will buy two of these units with said funds, and if my research and tests 
prove that they are at least as accessible as the uv5r or wouxun HT's, I 
will hold a contest and give both radios away to the winners of these 
contests.
If I find they are not accessible or are vaguely accessible, I shall resell 
them both and refund all donations to the FAART hi hi.
If you wish to support FAART, simply let me know and I will pass... the 
information along to you.
As I said, devious...
