If you need to find a direct e-mail address, try the following.
1.  Highlight the message from the person you want to talk privately with.
2. Right click the message and open the properties menu.
3. Choose the details option.
4.  Navigate through the jibberish in there.
5.  On one of the "from" lines, you will find the actual address of the 
person who originated the message.
Hope this helps.

This way, you never have to publish your address to the list, where it can 
be easilly harvested.  Especially on lists that archived and searchable.
