Hi, all.

In case anyone is interested, it took some work, but I now have my
downloaded book on CD's, so it can be played with my Victor Reader Classic
book player.

The XYL and I contacted the folks at Audible Manager, and they directed us
to I-tunes.

We downloaded that software, and imported the book into it.

The down side is that the book is a ten-hour book, so took about 8 CD's, but
at least I can take the book with me to read portable now if I want.

This whole situation, though, is Making me seriously look at a Victor Reader
Stream.

May have to put that on the wish list.

Thanks to all for your great help.
