I have no south facing windows on this house at all though so that might be
a problem too but even on cape cod where I go on vacation, we do have a
south facing window and there I can't do it inside the window unless I have
it inside the screen but outside the glass, and just to the right millionth
of an inch, easier hanging it outside the window and sticking it in the
shutters where it's much better.
