It's probably stupid for me to even pursue this but I'll ask anyway. Has
anyone on here used the Millennium QSY'er with a yaesu ft-817 with any luck?
I got a deal on that radio so got it to use on vacation, as with any yaesu
stuff, I'm sure sorry I did that, the qsy'er works once in a while, locks up
the radio the rest of the time. Anyone else see this problem? I tried
running it with ham radio deluxe and no problem at all but I wanted the
radio to be portable, not tethered to a computer, that's stupid to buy a
radio to be portable and have to tie it to the computer. If anyone wants to
give it a shot after my vacation there's about a 95% chance it will be up
for sale as a package with all accessories. Might consider trades too but
there's no way another yaesu will ever curse my station, they've all been
nothing but headaches for me and I haven't even had that many. It will take
something pretty spectacular for me to keep this one.
