HI all, the problem with using any kind of a speaker mic is that most
speaker mics do not use a seperate ptt connection, but when you load the
mic input of a hand held radio with the mic elament, the radio keys. 
Most radio's, on the other hand have a seperate line for push to talk!  I
agree with Butch, you would be better just using some old CB mic or
something!
