The support of you and everyone on the list is appreciated to a degree that 
is more than I can communicate in a simple e-mail like this.

Right now, it feels very strange not to be in the office, doing what I had 
done for the past 16 months.  But, at the same time, there is a great sense 
of relief here that the decision has been made, and that the direction back 
to full-time teaching for the Spring 2014 semester has been officially 
approved and endorsed by all concerned.
