Tom, if you get into the notes area on the new Stream you can go to a place
where it says something about recording volume.  I don't have the thing
here, but check it out.  I had some strange issues last week where I
recorded some notes only to find loud static when I played them back.  Have
also had other issues where the Stream or the HW server deleted a bunch of
my podcasts etc.
