Then, don't put that in any emails.
Anything you have in the public record is searchable, you just have to pay a fee to a background info site; there are several of them on the internet. They will come up with any civil suits, bankruptcies, employment history, list of neighbors, etc. etc.
Again, Beth, if you want to put that contact info in your signature, that's up to you. But, just realize emails are not and never have been secure. Particularly when you communicate this on a list like this, it is out there in the open.

Again, as I told Tom, my signature is an open invite for the RIGHT kind
