Maybe, I missed something in the chain here, but this is the message from 
Walt Smith I was commenting on.  I see nothing that was impolite in it.

"The list administrator is not the person you need to talk to. If 
Charter.net is bouncing mail, then they are the people who need to be 
approached.
 The list administrator of this or any other list cannot change 
Charter.net's policies."

There is no flaming, personal insult, criticism in a personal sense, or 
anything that I could find remotely offensive.

He's ignorant and rude.
If we want people to treat us with compassion then we should treat each
other the same way.

I wouldn't answer anyone they way is responded to me.

Would you?

And, if you were on the air would you respond in the same way?
