Hi Gery
You might want to try clipping on some ferrite chokes on the radio's power
cable. Clip it on the radio's side of the cable. These chokes are widely
used with computers and other household appliances.

are you near where the electric service comes in the house? Reason I ask is,

I do a lot of quick setups on vacations and stuff and it seems like every
time I setup close to where the electric service and other type stuff comes
in the house, I get noise and there's no telling where it will be. I usually

have to be right there against that wall at that corner of the house, but
it's a thought. Well service or septic with a pump anywhere near you?
