Looking on
HTTP://www.universal-radio.com
the up coming kenwood HT will be the TH D72.
It's going to be a dual band, 2M/70CM radio with built in APRS capability,
which would include onboard GPS with a 1200/9600BD TNC.
It will have a 13.8VDC charging/external power jack, along with a mini-USB
port for computer connectivity. It's also designed to work with the ts2000
in sky command mode, and has functionality for echolink.
sounds like an OK rig, just wish they would have dropped the 220MHZ band in
as well.
