The contest got off to a good start with a reasonable 10 meter opening,
and good conditions on 15. Working 20 and 40 was about like shooting
fish in a barrel, and 80 wasn't too bad, especially considering that we
had some thunder storms near my qth just before the contest began..

I finished with a total of 366 contacts, and 49,044 points. That's 107
contacts more than I made during the August session, and my best score
yet in this event.

I worked Lloyd on 80, and heard Tom, but since he and I were both in
"hunt and pounce" mode, we missed each other.

Other highlights for me were getting both Mississippi and Arkansas on
15 meters, and Louisiana on 20.

The phone NAQP is next Saturday, January 16.
