I wish to thank everyone who helped me learn about wiping CDs. The dry
paper towel didn't work, but a klenex did work for one of the CDs I thought
I'd ruined. The CD now plays perfectly on my CD player, but the PC still
doesn't like it. I had to make some adjustments in the CDex program so I
could rip the disk to my hard drive.

The other disk I thought I'd ruined I did ruin. Wiping it didn't do any
good. I'm glad I bought the replacement copy of the book so I can rip all
my cds to the hard drive. I prefer ripping CDs to the hard drive so I can
then copy the books to a CF card or external hard drive and listen to them
with my BN.
