I have an idea:

When you get the virtual PC cursor on the combo box of interest, press enter
to get into edit mode.  Then press alt/down arrow to open that combo box.
Next, arrow down to the desired selection in the combo box.  Then press the
tab key to go to the next control.

I'm having trouble on the ar news site. I'm trying to get to last week;'s
stuff; November twenty-first. There is an archive link and then I get stuck
in the combo boxes because when I pres space on one of them to look at it
and hit my arrows, it moves somewhere else completely different. I'm using
jaws 8 so does anyone have any ideas?
