Tipicly, Yaesu rigs aren't accessable and they don't care.  I don't know
of a yaesu with a synthesizer.  If all you want is a separate receive
antenna, why not get an antenna relay and switch that with the ptt on the
radio.  You could hook up a gr switch sort of backwards and acomplish what
you want.
