That initial set of options did not seem to come up on the new work
computer, even with Windows Narrator, although it may have been on the
screen without my knowledge.

With newer versions of windows, like vista, 7, and beyond, there is often a
thing that comes up to ask you if you want to run the CD or install from it,
browse it, or what ever. I usually disable it so it will come up like it
does for most people but work computers you can't always do that.
