Hi all,
A friend wishes to write an article about ham radio and was addressing this to the general public. He was wondering if there might be a source available to the general public on how one can find if there any ham radio operators in their area. This would be for a person who is preparing an emergency kit and wanted to know if there is any hams in his area in case he has to notify family that he is OK. I thought the ARRL would be a source, but there isn’t a search by zip codes. I know that there is a zip code search under the advance search page on any of the callsign data bases. Gary KB2YAA
