It's a Marantz Cd player/recorder. I no longer remember the price, but it's 
studio-quality equipment and it cost accordingly. Also, as I mentioned in 
another message, it does not require the RIAA-approved high priced spread--I 
just buy blank data CDs at Sam's and they work perfectly.
