The Icom 2-AT was my first rig.  I had it for ten years.   I liked the fact that it was so versatile.  I miss the way one could charge the battery pack without the rig 
and use a second pack while the other one was charging.  I don't know why the newer ht's don't have this feature.  With all the other technological
