Subject: RT Systems Baofeng Programming Software

Re: RT Systems Baofeng Programming Software

I recently purchased the Baofeng UV5R+ handheld transceiver. It came with an interface cable to use
with the CD that also came with it for programming.
Here's my key question:

If I purchase the RT Systems software for programming the Baofeng radio, which several of you have
recommended, can I use the cable that I already have that came with the radio, or do I have to
purchase the cable from RT Systems? Is anyone here using the cable that came with the radio with the
RT Systems software?
