Hi, Bob,

I don't use a Braille'nSpeak, I use a BrailleNote and I've never used Fred
Gissoni's program.

Sounds like what you need is a good back-translation program. Call signs
are tricky to back-translate because of the mixed letters and numbers.

One way to write a call sign would be dot 6 w dots 3,4,5,6 dots 1,4 dots 5,6
dot 6 dot 6 dots 1,2,3,5 dots 1,4 dots 2,4,5. Write the braille all close
up. It would look like this in braille: ,,w#c;,,rcj My call sign would be
brailled, ,,kf#f;,,ca You could braille all of the minutes in grade 2 but
write the call signs in grade 1, just like I showed you. If your net
control sheet doesn't need to be seen by sighted people, you could omit the
capital signs to save time.

Another option is to use a PC. Then you could just type everything and not
have to worry about back-translation. If you have a braille display, you
could plug it into the PC and read everything in braille. If you don't,
WindowEyes has an alfanumeric feature so call signs are spoken letter by
letter. I suppose the shark must, too.

I hope this helps.

Terri Amateur Radio call sign KF6CA.
