Someone wanted me to ask around and see if there is a such thing as a 
vhf/uhf radio that just simply plugs in to the wall and require no power 
supply. Let me know if there's a such thing. I think the ic7000 is a 
straight plug in but he wouldn't be interested in that. He has no antennas 
for hf.
