	Frank,

You can set menu 51 A to a bunch of choices, depending on what you want
to do.

If you set to number 00 through 62, it will call that menu item when
the pf key is pressed. The other choices are these:

63 Voice 1
64 Voice 2
65 RX MONI
66 DSP MONI
67 QUICK MR
68 QUICK M.IN
69 SPLIT
70 TF-SET
71 A/B
72 VFO/M
73 A=B
74 SCAN
75 M>VFO
76 M.IN
77 CW TUNE
78 CH1
79 CH2
80 CH3
81 FINE
82 CLR
83 CALL
84 CTRL
85 1MHz
86 ANT ½
87 NB
88 N.R.
89 B.C.
90 A.N.
99 OFF

I keep mine set to either voice 2 or cw autotune. The voice 2 will
read s meter when the key is pressed. If you set this way, you would
get frequency by pressing the enter key twice quickly.

I think page 77 in the manual covers all this junk. Have fun, enjoy
the radio.
