Hi Tom!

Definitely like your trade off analogy.

I'll take your hum any day for my local QRM, hi hi. The headphones see a lot
of use here. Screw this open plan stuff! I'm actually thinking a seprate
room concept is looking more attractive every day. Never wanted to change
things anyway, so it isn't surprising that the experience only justifies
what I already knew.

Well, Bob, hopefully the Braille paper fix I posted on the list hast night
will keep the hum tolerable.

I had actually seriously considered purchasing a switching supply, but
wanted to avoid the potential for birdies that switchers often introduce.

I guess life is just full of trade-offs, huh!

Anyway, I think I'm ok now.

Tom,  Yes, it is normal, that is why I am no longer using that supply.
