Thanks Jim!

Things have moved on a little since my earlier post.
I have discovered that despite the 8 data bits, it requires two stop bits.

For reading frequency, FA; was OK, and I put in MDA; for mode but this
didn't seem to be liked. MD:, however, gets it working but the software
doesn't follow the rig's mode.

Any ideas?

David,
I don't have a K3 but it works fine with my KX3. Just go to the rig
interface settings and choose Elecraft, select the comm port to which the K3
is connected, and set the baud rate (I recommend 38.4). All should just work
after that.

Hi guys!

Has anyone got these two talking?
If so, what are the settings?

I have decided to give this program another try.
