Imagine how I felt when I went to the 2007 Dayton Hamvention after being
inactive since the early 80s. I had heard of Packet, but didn't know
about APRS trackers, PSK31, Olivia, dStar and so on. My wife is not a
ham and after sitting in a presentation for 30 minutes finally asked:
What is DSP?

A lot more has changed than the band edges.
