Jim, I forgot to answer a few of your questions.

I've had no luck reading medicines, round objects, really not flat objects, etc.
The ocr system wants pages 10-12 inches from the camera but that changes with
the size of what you're scanning. The scanning stand is at a fixed height.
I've not tried andifferent stand but it sure might be worth it so you didn't
have to pay $149.00 for the premium pack that has the scanning stand in it.

On the plus side, Hims does allow free firmware updates for life at no expense.
That gets to be a really big deal over time. They seem to be good to work with
on the phone.

If you go to www.hims-inc.com and then go to resources you can find info on the
Blaze ET including the manual for download.

If you want to talk about the machine and//pr talk if yoyu get one to play with
drop me a private email and we can exchange addresses.

Sorry bout this typing -- I'm in a moving vehicle.

Tom
