I am looking for help in using telnet from windows 95 with either ASAW
or JFW or, for that matter, any screen reader.

Let me describe my experience and problem.

If I contact my college's VAX system with telnet, it works fairly well
in the beginning. However, after I use the editor to write some
messages and go back to reading, telnet skips most of the info and only
gives me the tail end info. Not only does speech skip it, but it isn't
on the screen either. Like if I reply to some mail and then send it,
and then do a dir listing I only get maybe the last one in the list.
Then, if I use control-t to get the telnet menu and tab through the
settings including vt100 changing nothing but clicking on 'ok', then
most times it is back to normal again.

If I use it with our First Class system running in Windows NT, it seems
to work quite well.

Then, I tried a telnet program from the internet and also smart term
pushed by my college and the do not speak in telnet. I can go and read
the screen in review mode, but these 2 programs do not talk as such.

Does anyone have ideas either on how to get windows 95 telnet working
better or know of another telnet program that will emulate vt00 and will
also talk?
