Assistive Technology In  Higher Education
November 6-8, 2002

         University of Colorado, Boulder

  Keynote Speaker: Dr. Kenneth Rutherford
Co-Founder of Landmines Survivor Network


The University of Colorado at Boulder invites speaker proposals for its
5th
annual Accessing Higher Ground Conference.   The conference will take
place
on the Boulder campus.  The conference focuses on the implementation and
benefits of Assistive Technology in the university and college setting.
Other topic areas include legal and policy issues, including ADA and 508
compliance, and making campus media and information resources, including
Web pages and library resources, accessible.  Accepted speakers will
receive a waiver of the pre-conference and conference registration fee
and
a $150 honorarium.

Web site.  Please mail, fax or e-mail the completed application to
Disability Services at CU-Boulder by April 24 if you are interested in
presenting.
