I'm sure a lot of you know about Julie's passing, but I wanted to acknowledge her work and her life on this list. We've lost a champion.

Ruth Nussbaum sent me the following message about the recent death of
Julie Klauber. I'm passing along this sad news.

I am sorry to report that Julie Klauber, librarian of the Library for
the
Blind in Suffolk County, NY and receipent of the 2002 F.J. Campbell
Award
died Tuesday Sept 3 after a battle with cancer.
